A meeting of the Academic Council was held in the Local History Museum of Atyrau region.

The meeting was attended by members of the Academic Council, museum workers and representatives of the media. Rashida Kharipova, head of the Local History Museum of Atyrau region, presented the composition of the members of the academic council. During the meeting, thematic reports on the agenda items were presented.

At a meeting of the Academic Council of the Local History Museum of Atyrau region, the chief curator of the fund D. Bissembayeva introduced the report on the work done by the Local History Museum of Atyrau region for 2021. At present, the number of exhibits of the regional museum fund is 63,818 units, in departments - 35,791 units, a total of 99,609 exhibits. Listing the large-scale events held during the year, the achievements of the museum and the museum staff were noted.

Then Elmira Mukhambetkaliyeva, head of the museum's paleontology department, introduced the scientific concept of the "Paleontology" exposition hall, which is being opened in the building of the Local History Museum of Atyrau region. The hall that opens will present the history of the study of paleontology, the history of the development of the Earth, ancient plants and animals, as well as animal skeletons found in the region.

And the head of the department of research support (General history, archeology and ethnography) of the museum, Aidos Kalshabayev, analyzed the concept of the archeology exposition hall being created. He told the history, characteristics, values ​​of the finds during excavations in our region. In the hall that was opened, they worked out the arrangement of exhibits from the museum's funds.

During the meeting, the head of the Local History Museum of Atyrau region, Rashida Kharipova, acquainted the members of the Academic Council with the museum’s work plan for 2022, in the end, the members of the Academic Council expressed their views and proposals on the issues on the agenda

The Local History Museum of Atyrau region hosted a conference "Mrs. Bopay: an exemplary life and socio-political activity" dedicated to the promotion of Ms. Bopay, a courageous figure involved in governing the country. The presentation of the book "Abulkhair Khan and Mrs. Bopay" by Islam Haji Myrzabekovich was held on the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, by a special decree of President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to implement the national plan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Independence.

The meeting was held in offline and online format and was attended by researchers from Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Turkestan, Aktobe, Mangistau regions and descendants of Bopay Suindikovna, local historians, members of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family, Demographic Policy under the regional akimat, students of K. Dutbayeva Humanitarian College, and representatives of the media.

At the meeting, historians and local historians conducting research on the life of Abulkhair Khan and Ms. Bopay shared their views on a common theme. During the event, there were reports on the following theme: Professor of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University Leskali Berdigozhin - "Abulkhair Khan and his descendants in Kazakh history", Director of the Republican Museum-Reserve "Saraishyk" Abylseit Mukhtar - "Mother Bopay's activity in public and political life", local historian, Honorary Citizen of Atyrau region Umirzak Kazhymgaliyev - "The place of Bokei Khan, a descendant of Abulkhair Khan and Mrs. Bopay, in history", Gulzhan Yeleshova, chairwoman of the public association "Information" - "Ways to promote Mrs. Bopay through tourism."

After that, the author of the book "Abulkhair Khan and Mrs. Bopay" Islam Haji Myrzabekovich and the Secretary of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family, Demographic Policy under the regional akimat Zamzagul Zhalmurzina shared their view on Ms. Bopay, who participated in the administration of the country as an assistant to Abulkhair Khan as well as on her personality and moral qualities.

At the cultural event singers of the Zhantorin Philharmonic Society Zhasulan Bazarbayev sang "Manlike mother Bopay", Nurbek Izdibay sang "Homeland". Famous kuishi Shamil Abiltay, who watched the gathering on the slopes of Alatau, presented his poem "Bopay ana" written in the words of the poet Sabyr Aday online.

Well-known poet Marzhan Yershu from Nur-Sultan, writer Otegen Oralbay from Almaty, kuishi Shamil Abiltay, writer Altai Taizhanov from Aktobe, rector of A. Zhubanov Aktobe University Bekezhan Akhan joined the gathering online. In general, 2 people from Nur-Sultan, 7 people from Almaty, 6 people from Aktobe, 5 people from Aktau, 5 people from Turkestan region, 4 people from Beineu, one person from Taraz and one from Ozen took part in the conference. The meeting was attended by 41 people, including listeners from the Atyrau region.

The Local History Museum of hosted "Paleontologist who discovered the secrets of the Cretaceous mountains" event in memory of the founder of the Museum of Paleontology in the region, a cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the best local historian Yuri Pastukhov.

The meeting began with a video on the life and work of the local historian, who dedicated part of his life to the study of cretaceous plateau in the vicinity of the Caspian Sea. Galina Chernova, chairwoman of the Globe Ecological Association, a well-known journalist Victor Sutyagin,  friends Georgy Trukhin and Valery Ten, and a student Irina Beshtanko made speech at the vent. They remembered the special aspects of the talented person's full of science destiny. Alexander Pastukhov, the paleontologist's son, expressed his  kind and gentle relation to own family.

At the end of the event, Rashida Kharipova, the head of the Local History Museum of Atyrau Region, said that the work of the first paleontologist was immeasurable. In this regard, the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the book "Paleontological Collections" was presented to the son of a local historian Alexander and the chairman of the ecological association "Globe" Galina Chernova.

The meeting was also attended by friends, descendants of the paleontologist, members of the press, students and students of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and 11th grade students of D. Baibosynov national school-gymnasium #13 took part.

The opening ceremony of "Elbasy and the History of Independent Kazakhstan" exhibition hall was held in Local History Museum of Atyrau region on December 1 - the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Akim of Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov and member of the Atyrau branch of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Georgian ethno-cultural association "Iveria" Zurab Bobokhidze cut the ribbon of the hall dedicated to the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. In his speech, the head of the region described in detail the great work of the President for the benefit of the country.

The cultural event was attended by Yerkin Abil, head of the exposition and exhibitions service of the President's Library, director of the State Historical Institute, representatives of the regional department of culture, archives and documentation, members of the museum's scientific council, professors, historians, local historians and students of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University.

The exposition hall of the museum, which preserves the valuable artifacts of the Atyrau region and promotes the high value of historical artifacts, displays historical information about the life of the First President, photos of his youth and public life. In the special hall, archival documents, reflecting the historical moments of the work done by the Leader of the Nation in ruling  and developing the country, were presented to the public. In this hall, a special place was given to the Constitution and national symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, documentary information on the introduction of the national currency, the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan's membership in the United Nations. References and photos depicting the achievements of Atyrau region in the years of independence in the economy and culture were posted. The audience viewed photos taken during the President's visit to Atyrau region, as well as photo exhibits showing the historical moments of the first launch of such large enterprises as Tengizchevroil LLP, AtyrauMunayMash LLP. In addition, samples of the first coins of the sovereign country, published on the initiative of a great man, were presented to the public in this hall.

A meeting of the Republican Council was held in the Local History Museum of Atyrau region on the basis of the resolution of the international scientific-practical conference "Ulug Ulus - the Golden Horde" in the framework of

the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the beginning of the meeting, Akim of the region Makhambet Zholdaskaliyevich said that the revival of the forgotten history of the Golden Horde is one of the most urgent and actual issues

of our time. He stressed that it is the duty of each of us to glorify the greatness of the Ulug Ulus, which is the basis for the formation of today's Kazakhstan as a state.

The Republican Council approved a five-year plan based on the conference resolution. A local historian, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, Honorary Journalist of Kazakhstan Tolegen Zhanabay, Director of the Institute of State History Yerkin Abil,

Director of the Saraishyk State Museum Reserve Abylseit Mukhtar, archeologist, Candidate of Historical Sciences Marat Kassenov , the head of the regional department of culture, archives and documentation Akylbek Ryskaliyev read reports on the Golden Horde

and shared his views on the historical cities and ancient Saraishyk in the region.

A specially prepared film about Kazakh history was presented at the ceremony. The meeting was also attended by members of the scientific council of the museum, representatives of the regional department of culture, archives and documentation, professors

of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, historians and local historians.

In the Local History Museum of Atyrau region within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the resolution of the international scientific-practical conference "Ulug Ulus – the Golden Horde" opened " Ulug

Ulus – the Golden Horde " exhibition hall. Akim of Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov and director of the Institute of State History of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkin Abil opend in a solemn ceremony.

Restored, preserved versions of historical artifacts associated with the Golden Horde period were presented to the public in the exhibition hall. The eye-catching hall was decorated with information about the political structure

of the Great Nation, the history and economic development of the Golden Horde, which served as a bridge between East and West. There is information about the life and methods of governing the country of the rulers of the Golden Horde, such as Batu Khan, Berke

Khan, Monke Temir Khan, Tokta Khan (Toktay), Uzbek Khan, Zhanibek Khan, Berdibek Khan, Toktamys Khan. It was noted that the legal order of the state at that time was based on the 17-point law "Yassa", based on the nomadic lifestyle of Genghis Khan, and the

list of laws was presented to the public. Information about military affairs and symbols of the Golden Horde period, types of weapons and pottery used in that period were also displayed in this hall. The collection of coins and paiza minted in the cities of

the Great Ulus has been one of the most valuable artifacts for centuries. Evidence of the high level of development of literature and science during the Great Empire, historical data on the rise of the state and the strengthening of relations with neighboring

countries.Part of the special hall provided information about the capitals of the Ulug Ulus - the Golden Horde, such as Sarai Batu, Sarai Berke, Saraishyk and other cities such as Yangikent, Suzak, Sauran, Syganak, Otyrar, Ispidzhab, Zhend. Detailed information

about the medieval cities of Aktobe-Laeti, Kyzylkorgan, Taskeshu caravanserai and caravan routes in the Atyrau region, as well as pots and jars, stone mills and candles, candlestick and plates, parts of wall tiles and sewer systems, beads and bone products

were exhibited. The books of the Koran and the comments to the Koran studied by the Imams of that time were revered as a tabarak from the mystical age, and were placed on chairs covered with Arabic writing.

In the exhibition hall there is also a special tablet with information about the important historical role of the Jochi Ulus in the formation of the Kazakh statehood and about archeologists, ethno-archeologists who conducted

excavations on the site of the cities of the Golden Horde. All the information on the thematic tablets in this hall, which is reminiscent of the Middle Ages, is presented in Kazakh, Russian and English.
