On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished statesman and public figure, the leader of «Alash» movement, Professor Khalel Dosmukhameduly, an exhibition titled «Lessons of history - Tribute to the past» was opened.
On November 15, 2023, to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Professor Khalel Dosmukhameduly, a notable statesman and leader of "Alash" movement, a ceremonial opening of the exhibition on the theme "Lessons of history - Tribute to the past" was held. The event was organized by Atyrau regional local history museum.
The exhibition aimed to widely promote among today's youth the work and contributions of Kh. Dosmukhameduly, who was a representative of the Kazakh intelligency and member of Alash Orda National Council in the historical arena of the early XX century. Additionally, it aimed to enhance the permanent exposition of "Alash Orda Scholars" within the "History of the region in the 1st half of the XVII-XX centuries" hall with a hyper-realistic statue of Kh. Dosmukhameduly.
Esteemed guests at the exhibition's grand opening included regional historians promoting and studying the history of Alash Orda, as well as the life path and legacy of the national hero Kh. Dosmukhameduly.
The distinguished attendees included memberof the Union of Writers of the republic of Kazakhstan, the Merited Journalist of Kazakhstan Tolegen Zhanabayuly, members of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan Abilkhan Seytimuly, Associate professor of Atyrau university named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov Gabit Bagytzhanuly, Doctor of historical sciences Leskali Bazargaliuly, Candidate of philosophy Salimgerey Aymuratov, Sabirov Aydar, Professor of the department of psychology and pedagogy Nursulu Temirbolatkyzy, Professor of Atyrau university and candidate of historical sciencesKabibek Sadiruly, as well as the hyper-realistic sculptor Aydos Yesmagambetov, museum staff and students also participated in this event.

During the event, "Khalelologists" discussed the political activities of Alash movement leader Khalel Dosmukhameduly on the path of national liberation and his contribution to the life of the people as a public figure.
The scholar Khalel, wrote, "In this world, there were many wise people, orators, masters, heroes, and poets. Among us, there were also many such individuals. Valuing people who worked for their nation and remembering their merits is a sign of nationality."
If so, then undoubtedly, the exhibition titled "Lessons of history - Tribute to the past," organized to honor the spirit and name of the outstanding individual tirelessly working for the good of the country, will adorn the museum.
