On the occasion of World animal day on October 4, a lecture on the topic “Animals and birds are richness of the country” was held at the Atyrau regional local history museum. The lecture was attended by 10th grade schoolchildren and a teacher from the national gymnasium for gifted children of Atyrau region. The species of animals and birds of our region, their place in nature and significance were explained to representatives of the younger generation. They also showed stuffed animals and birds that are on the verge of extinction and are listed in the Red Book of the republic of Kazakhstan. Also schoolchildren was provided with additional information about the birds' nesting skills. The schoolchildren listened to the lecture with interest and asked their questions.
