On September 5, 2023, a temporary exhibition was held at the Atyrau regional local history museum dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the honorary citizen of the Atyrau region and the city of Atyrau, academician, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor Muftah Diaruly.

The main purpose of the exhibition was to bring the immeasurable work of professor Muftah Diaruly in the field of education and science, nature conservation and development of the subsoil of our country, to the younger generation and the public, as well as his life is complete of knowledge and morality.

The exhibition presented such documents as the certificate of Muftah Diaruly as “Honorary citizen of the Atyrau Region”, the certificate “Honored worker of education of the republic of Kazakhstan”, the diploma “Discoverer of deposits”, letters of gratitude, certificates of honor, delegate mandate, author’s certificates, articles in the press, parliamentary certificates, books, scientific works, personal belongings, collections of mineral stones transferred to the fund of museum, as well as photographs during the service and other exhibits.

The vice-rector N. Akhmetov from the Atyrau oil and gas university named after S. Otebaev and university colleagues shared memories of the scientist’s life and his activities in the field of education and science. At the end of the event, Muftah Diaruly’s wife Raisa Aleksandrovna and his daughter Dina Muftakhovna expressed gratitude to the museum staff and presented the museum fund with Muftah Diaruly’s book “A few words about myself.”
