A meeting of the stock-purchasing commission of the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore for the 3-rd quarter was held



On September 25, 2026, in accordance with the annual work plan, a meeting of the stock-purchasing commission of the museum was held for the third quarter.

During the meeting, a number of valuable items of museum significance were reviewed and accepted into the museum collections.

The collection of the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore was supplemented with raw material samples from "Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc" (KPI), polypropylene, a bag, models of a plant, a railway tank car and a wooden pallet, a photograph, a "tangysh" (a rope used to tie the kerege) dating back to the 20th century, as well as a kamcha (kazakh  whip) made by decorative and applied arts craftsman Kenes Aiypkaliyev.

The collection of the Inder District Branch of the museum received a dombra, armor, a seal, a mat, paintings, sculptures, weapons and discs transferred by the "Makhambet Utemisuly" Historical and Cultural Reserve, as well as photographs, documents, certificates of honor, medals and a telephone set belonging to labor veteran and educator Kabira Bayedilova.

The new acquisitions will enrich the museum collection and contribute to the preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the Atyrau Region.
