Environmental Intellectual QUIZ “Protecting Nature Is a Shared Responsibility”

On June 3, 2026, the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore organized the environmental intellectual QUIZ competition “Protecting nature is a shared responsibility” in honor of June 5 – World Environment Day.

The purpose of the event was to enhance participants’ knowledge of environmental protection, the rational use of natural resources, and the development of ecological awareness and culture.

Employees of the Aqzhaiyk State Nature Reserve took part in the competition and were divided into four teams: “Green Future,” “Nature Eagles,” “Clean World,” and “Eco Guardians.” During the six-round QUIZ, participants answered test, logic, audio, photo, and multimedia questions related to the region’s natural environment, ecology, ornithofauna, ichthyofauna, and flora.

As a result, the “Clean World” team won first place, the “Green Future” team took second place, and the “Nature Eagles” team secured third place. The winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts, while the “Eco Guardians” team received a letter of appreciation.

During the event, Zh. Muratullin, Head of the Aqzhaiyk State Nature Reserve, expressed his gratitude to the museum staff. The award ceremony was conducted by the Deputy Director of the museum, S. Gazimova.
