The Museum Fund Has Been Enriched with Valuable Relics Belonging to Fariza Ongarsynova
The museum’s collection has been enriched with valuable relics belonging to Fariza Ongarsynova — the People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, an outstanding poetess, the queen of poetry who left a unique and indelible mark on the history of Kazakh literature.
In early November, the museum’s chief custodian of the collection, B. Khasanova, and the head of the collection registration sector, F. Tamenova, were sent on a business trip to Almaty to collect the exhibits. Among the relics transferred by the poet’s sister, Almagul Ongarsynova, are a dombra and a kylkobyz, a mandolin, books and photographs, manuscripts, clothing worn by Fariza Ongarsynova during her lifetime, as well as other personal items.
