On 29th of August, 2023 a meeting was held with the descendants of Nugyman Manayev at the Atyrau regional local history museum, intended to honor the memory of the statesman and public figure and popularize him among the people, especially among the youth.

Nugyman Manayev’s great-granddaughters, Madina Serikovna Manayeva and Asiya Serikovna Manayeva, came from Almaty to take part in the event organized specially in Atyrau. The descendants of the famous personality donated the documents of his grandfather Nugyman Manayev to the museum fund, including a copy of one of his rare works “Iman Islam”, archival documents and photographic materials.

In addition, the event was attended by literary critic, candidate of philological sciences Maksat Taj-Murat, member of the Union of writers and journalists of Kazakhstan Utepbergen Alimgereev, professors of Atyrau state university named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov Amangeldi Shamgonov, Akkali Akhmet, candidate of historical sciences Kabibek Mukhitov, candidate of pedagogical sciences Gabit Kabekenov, as well as museum staff and media representatives.
