On the eve of this professional holiday, the Atyrau Regional Museum of Local History was visited by a doctor of Cambridge University, a researcher at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research Rebecca Roberts and PhD student in the Department of Archeology at the University of Cambridge Saltanat Amir.
They met with the museum's archaeologists and exchanged experiences. During the meeting, they visited the archaeological halls of the museum and showed great interest in our finds. Since the main topics of research were devoted to the Iron Age, they received in-depth information about museum expositions related to that era. And they shared with the museum staff their projects of metal jewelry and bio-organic materials of the Iron Age and exchanged views on the implementation of future joint projects.
