The Local History Museum of Atyrau Region hosted a temporary exhibition "Zulmat zhyldar zardaby", dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions, May 31.

The exhibition was organized to pay tribute to the victims of political repression, which is one of the most tragic pages in our history that has befallen our people.

The exhibition provided photographs and documents, certificates of rehabilitation, testimonies of leaders of the Alash movement Kh. Dosmukhamedov, innocently punished Kh.Akbotin, K.Eskaliev, M.Bilalov, G.Karabalin, K.Yessembayev, O.Ismurzin, M.Berdiev, K.Kodarov and others collected in the museum fund, as well as books from the library fund. A total of 60 exhibits were provided.
