The Local History museum of Atyrau regionheld a temporary exhibition entitled "Showpieces accepted by the museum's fund in 2016" on July 14, 2017.

The exhibition "Showpieces accepted by the museum's fund in 2016" was held with the aim of replenishing the scientific fund of the regional museum and acquainting visitors with the historical and cultural showpieces of the museum.

At the exhibition,newspaper materials and bookletswere presentedas well asMessage of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people for 2014-2015, copies of archival documents from the State Central Archive, a documentary film in two languages ​​"Aljira's Fierce Cold" according to historical information given bythe descendants of  political repression victims, copies of documents of the Veteran of the Patriotic War, Knight of the Glory Order Sakyp Kazylov, documents and personal belongings of the State and Public figure, Veteran of the Patriotic War, Honorary Citizen Atyrau region  O. Koshekov, documents of Veterans of the Patriotic War Mukhambetov Kalzhan, Mangybayev Khairosh, biography and photographs of the Great Patriotic War, documents of  USSR Excellent Public Health Officer Utegaziev Shakrat, old photographs of the city of Atyrau (Guryev) from the archive of F.L.Poloznev, book in three languages ​​“The Kazakhs.History and culture”,the materials of the enterprise and the organization of industrial innovative projects in honor of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, documents and personal belongings of Tengizchevroil LLP, Atyrau oil refinery plant, badges on different subjects, the book "Atyrau ethnic groups" timed to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, millstone found on the bank of the river Sagiz, in the village of Kenbai.
