In November, the head of the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore M. Kipiyev and the director of the KPI company “Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc.” D. Ashimov signed a bilateral memorandum.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Akim of the Atyrau region Zh. Bissembiyev, Head of the Department of Culture and Languages Development of the Atyrau region A. Zholamanov, General Director of the KPI company D. Ashimov, Head of the Atyrau regional museum of history and local lore M. Kipiyev, as well as veterans of the oil industry and employees of the KPI company.
Deputy Akim of Atyrau region Zhasulan Bissembiyev noted that KPI is a leading company in the development of the gas and chemical industries and that the complex makes a huge contribution to the economy and industry of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the launch of the gas chemical complex "Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc.", the General Director of KPI D. Ashimov handed over to the museum the first batch of propylene powder, polypropylene granules of the 030GP brand, the seal of the first tank with raw material C3H8 (propane), as well as historical photographs depicting the launch ceremony of the complex.
- Ashimov also noted that within the framework of the memorandum, new joint projects between KPI and the museum will be implemented, and expressed confidence that in the future, exhibits from other projects will be added to create a gas chemical corner in the museum.
The event turned into an Open Day for workers in this industry at the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of the founding of KPI.
