This collection includes several types of collections of paleontological artifacts collected in the funds of the regional museum and the paleontological museum. These are cephalopods (ammonites, belemnites), bivalves, tentacle mollusks, sponges, worms, sea corals, representatives of groups of echinoderms (sea lilies, fossilized remains of sea urchins), ancient fish vertebrae, tails, teeth of sharks, rays, fossilized bones and vertebrae of plesiosaur and ichthyosaurs, a Mosasaurus tooth, mammals (bones of mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses, ancient wild bulls and great horned deer), fossilized parts of a tree, a total of 314 exhibits were included.

The collection of musical instruments included 136 exhibits, which were divided into three main sections.
