On October 6, 2017, from 19:00 to 23:00, the festival "Night at the Museum" dedicated to the city's day was held in the Local Historymuseumof Atyrauregion.

The event  was opened fromthe meeting withthe famous poet, laureate of the Grand Prix of the International Festival "Shabyt", Ph.D. in Philology, winner of the festival of poetry of the Turkic-speaking countries Marzhan Yershu.

For visitors, an exhibition was organized from the old photos of the city "Atyrau yesterday and today", films about the history of the city collected in the museum's fund, the game "Years Talk" and "Golden Chest", the exhibition and master class of the jeweler, masters of applied art K.Shapabayev and an exhibition of other applied arts, an exhibition of archaeological expeditionsinMiyaly Kurgan, Aktobe-Laeti and Saraichik.

In the hall of "Ethnography" on the background of the kiiz ui interior, the national art of the Kazakh people such as jun tutu, iiru and weaving, a master class for hairbraidingwereshown.

The event was visited by the Director of the City Culture Department A.Amanbayevich, heads and employees of cultural institutions, students, guests of the city, representatives of the media.
