The exhibition and meeting on the theme "Researcher of the local history"dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the historian, professor of Kh. Dosmukhamedova Atyrau State University Amangeldy Shamgonovawas arrangedin Atyrau local history On April 25, 2017, at 15.00in order to acquaint with life and work way of the teacher with big letter.

Amangeldy Shamgonov was born on May 15, 1942 in the village of G. Alipova(beforeKyzyloba) of the Dyngyzylrural areaof the Kurmangazydistrict of the Atyrau region. In 1968 he graduated a history faculty of S.M.KirovKazakh State University (now Al-Farabi). Since1968 he has workedat the Guriyev State Pedagogical Institute as a Senior Teacher, Associate Professor. In 1993, he was awarded with title of History department Associate Professorby the Higher Attestation Commission in Moscow.

From 1970 to 2000, he managed“Ata Meken”scientific and local historyassociation of students at the university. While doing scientific research in this association they defended the thesis of14 doctors of science and 32 candidates of sciences.

A.Shamgonov is a scientist, researcher of the national liberation rebellionI.Taimanov and M.Utemisov. He is the author of monographs and maps “National liberation rebellionled by I.Taimanov and M.Utemisovin 1836 – 1838”.

A.Shamgonov is excellent educatorof the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the Prize named after Kh.Dosmukhamedova of international society "Kazakh tili", an honorary member of the Republic  Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture, honorary professor of the department "History of Kazakhstan and the World", the owner of the badge "Ybyrai Altynsarin "awarded with the Diploma of the Ministry of education and science of RoK, akimat and Maslikhat of Atyrau region, Isatai and Kurmangazy district, certificates of Perm, Guryev municipal committee of Komsomol, the World and the Guryev regional society "Bilim", in April 2017 awarded with the badge «For contribution to development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event started with an introduction to the exhibition "Researcher of the local history " continued with reports of scientific research. The participants listened to reports of A.Shamgonov "About preparation of map of National liberation rebellionled by I.Taimanov and M.Utemisovin 1836 – 1838", the candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of pedagogy Gabit Bazargaliyev "Atameken – scientific school of history researching students" head of Isatay District Museum Gulmira Alaguzova"Research of Isatay warrior’s descendants".

The exhibition presents the biographical documents of A.Shamgonov, photographs of student times, with friends, colleagues, relatives, scientific research, published works and articles, award documents, a total of 83 exhibits.

The event was attended by teachers of Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, friends, relatives, students, representatives of the department of culture and development of languages ​​of Isatay district, employees of regional and district museums, representatives of the media, 60 people in total.
