The final stage of the intellectual quest-contest on the topic "History of Kazakh steppe" was held by in Atyrau local history museumwithin the promotion of "Motherland is my power" through the historical and cultural monuments of the city of Atyrau among students of higher and secondary educational institutionson April 24, 2017, at 14.00.
The purpose of the quest - competition: acquaintance of the young generation with the history of the region and Kazakhstan, with historical, cultural monuments and sights of the city in fascinating form.
Selection rounds of the contest were held in Atyrau local history museumfrom September 2016 to April 2017 among 13 teams of students of higher and secondary educational institutions. Their knowledge was shown by answering all questions on the exposition halls of the museum and reached the final of the team the Agrotechnical College, Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, Atyrau College of Service, Atyrau College of Energy and Construction.
In the final round of the quest, questions were prepared on 15 historical and cultural monuments of the city of Atyrau: monument of National heroKhiuaz Dospanova, Sultan Beibars, member of the Alash Orda party Khalel Dosmukhamedov, the first academician Kanysh Satpayev, national warriorsIsatay Taimanov and Makhambet Utemisov, dombristDina Nurpeisova, poetessFariza Ongarsynova, author of the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhumeken Nazhimedenov, Hero of the Soviet Union Boran Nysanbayev, a monument to soldiers-internationalists, kyuishi Kurmangazy Sagyrbaev, Hero of the Soviet Union Kaiyrgali Smagulov, bi of the JuniorZhuz - Aiteke bi. The participants of the quest contest were to find a monument and answer additional questions, the museum staff members who were near the monuments estimated the answers. The correctness of the answer and the speed of movement were taken into account. Two routes for the teams were developed, the participants of the competition were accompanied and photographed by the operators of RTRK "Kazakhstan-Atyrau". It is planned to show a special program of the TV project of the contest on the TV channel "Kazakhstan - Atyrau".
The winner was the team of the Atyrau College of Energy and Construction, which will go to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana. The teams that took the second and third places will make a trip to the memorable places of the Atyrau region.
