The educational excursion with the game elements on the theme "Through the pages of the Red Book" was conducted under the family program of the weekend "All the family go to the museum"in Atyrau local history museum on April 16, 2017, at 11.00 and 15.00. Excursions wereorganized for schoolchildren of junior and middle classes with the purpose of acquaintance thechildren with the Red Book of Kazakhstan, its structure, some animals and birdsenteredinto it in an entertaining game form, educationof a careful attitude to the surrounding nature.

Cognitive excursions on the topic "Through the pages of the Red Book" were held in the nature hall on the backgroundof the hall expositions, as well as stuffed birds and animals. In the beginning, the visitors got knownabout the Red Book, when it appeared and why the book contains pages of black, red, yellow, gray and white colors, got acquainted with the animals and birds of our regionlisted in the Red Book. Specially for children in the excursion program there are riddles, quizzes and games. Children with great interest performed tasks, answered questions, took an active part in the games. Distinguished participants of the tour received a free subscription to the museum during 2017 "With classmates tothe museum", "With friends tothe museum."

Residentsof the cities: Atyrau, Astana, students of secondary school No.2, No.6, No.24, schools - Gymnasium No. 30, in total 76 people took part in educational excursions on the topic " Through the pages of the Red Book ". Then, for all comers, guided tours through exposition halls of the museum were conducted.
