In the Atyrau local history museumon April 12, 2017, at 15.00 the presentation of the video film "Museum - the mirror of history"was conductedunder the charitable action "You are not alone"in order to create an accessible museum environment for people with disabilities, to ensure equal access to museum expositions.

The video "Museum - a mirror of history" presents excursions to the exposition halls of the museum in Kazakh and Russian languages. The film was made especially for people with disabilities who have significant difficulties in movement (wheelchair users who move with crutches), as well as for those who, due to their illness, do not have the opportunity to visit the museum personally.

The head of the museum Rashida Yerimovna Kharipova in her welcoming speech acquainted all present with the purpose of the presentation and wished everyone a good view. For the participants of the presentation, an excursion to the exposition halls of the first floor was conducted, then in the nature room the video "Museum - the mirror of history" was organized with an excursion through the exposition halls of the second floor.

The presentation was attended by Kulbarshin Balkhashevna Nurzhigitova, chairperson of the public association "World of the disabled", members of the disabled society, representatives of the media, a total of 7 people.

At the end of the meeting, chairperson of the public association "World of the disabled"K.B. Nurzhigitova thanked the museum staff for organizing the viewing, noting that these meetings are important for people with limited opportunities, who often find themselves in social and cultural isolation.
