"Wonderful world of the museum" educational excursionswere organizedin Atyrau local history museum for primary school students on April 10-14, 2017, with the purpose of interesting and accessible acquaintance with the museum, history, culture and nature of the region.
Educational excursions were held in the hall of ethnography on the backgroundof the yurta and the expositions of the hall, then for the schoolchildren the game "The Mysterious Box" was held. The main object of the show was a Kazakh boxwith exhibits inside. From the Kazakh boxthe guide took out items of traditional Kazakh dishes made of leather and wood (torso, saba, pial case, set of dishes for kumys, dish for baursaks and meat), as well as copper products and others. Presenting each subject, the guide asked the students what the exhibit was used for, listened to the answers and then explained in detail the true purpose of the subject. A specialprogram was organized for children with a quiz, riddles and an expressive reading of poems.
In the nature hall a quiz "The connoisseur of nature" was conducted specially for children. In the excursion program there wereriddles, games about animals and birds. Schoolchildren with great interest performed tasks, answered questions, took part in games, rememberedproverbs and sayings about animals and birds. They also listened to the voices of the birds, trying to find out to whom they belonged and placed tablets with the names of animals and birds. Then the children listenedto a story about the flora and fauna of the Atyrau region.
The excursions were attended by teachers and pupils of secondary schools № 1 named after V. Lenin, №21 named after Zhambyl, № 27. named after I.Taimanov, total110 people.
Class teacher of the 5thclass of secondary school №21 namedafter Zhambyl Farida Mustafayevna Aubakerova thanked the museum staff for an informative excursion, saying that the children had an interesting and useful time in the museum.
