Information about conduction of an intellectual quest - competition on the theme "History of Kazakh steppe" in Atyrau local history museum within the promotion "Motherland is my power"

From 4 to 6 April 2017, Atyrau local history museumconducted intellectual quest-competitions on the topic "History of Kazakh steppe " within the promotion "Motherland is my power" in order to familiarize with the history of the region and Kazakhstan in fascinating form. Competitions were held among employees of cultural institutions, students of educational institutions, pupils of senior classes of general education schools.

On April 4, students of Atyrau Industrial College, Atyrau College of Energy and Construction, Atyrau College of Transport and Communications took part in the quest competition.

On April 5, the staff of the Atyrau regional state archive, the Dina Nurpeisova Academic Folk Orchestra, the regional center for the organization of scientific and methodical work of folk art and cultural and leisure activities took part in the quest.

On April 6, students of the 9th-10th grades of secondary school No. 24, secondary school No. 15 named after Abay, the school - lyceum № 16 named after  Zh.Karazhigitov, for pupils the contest was held in Kazakh and Russian languages.

Prior to each quest, the deputy head of the museum for general issues Sagintai Kopzhassarov, in his welcoming speech, noted that the main goal of the competition is to attract visitors to the museum and to familiarize with the history of the region in an exciting way. Also explained the rules of the game to the participants of the quest contest and wished everyone good luck. The participants of the competition were divided into teams, and then all the teams followed the specified tasks in the exposition halls of the museum and answered questions.

The winner of the IV round was the team of the Atyrau College of Energy and Construction among the students, the team of the Academic Folk Instruments Orchestra named after Dina Nurpeisova among the institutions, the team of the secondary school No. 24 (in Kazakh), the team 0f the lyceum #16 named after  Zh. Karazhigitov (in Russian) among the pupils.

Winning teams were awarded certificates for further participation in the final rounds, the rest of the teams were awarded thankful letters. Participants of the contest noted that the game was interesting and informative, thanked the museum staff for conducting the quest contest.
