The ceremony of «Өшпейтұғын артына із қалдырған»exhibition and remembrance evening devoted to 90the anniversary of best Kazakhstan oil industry worker, holder of an order «Құрмет белгісі» Bagytzhan Yessengaliyev was opened in Atyrau local history museum on 18 March 2017. The event was arranged for the purpose of patriotic brought up of young generation on the life and work example of B.Yessengaliyev.
Bagytzhan Yessengaliyev was born in 1927 in Baksay village of Makhambet district of Atyrau (Guryev) region. In 1944, he graduated Zhamankala secondary school, entered into I.M.Gubkin Moscow Oil Institution in the faculty of oil drilling, graduated with honor in 1950.
He started his work in 1950 in “Kazakhstanneft”association as an engineer, then as a senior engineer, Mnaily oil field management technical department manager. Between 1952 and 1955, he worked as a chief engineer of Kylsary drilling branch of “Kazakhstanneft”association. In 1955 and 1957, he was a manager of PTO drilling office of “Kaznefterazvedka” enterprise. Since 1958, he has been as a deputy manager of Guryev council of national economy department, head of council of national economy department.
In 1965-1972 Bagytzhan Yessengaliyev was in position of deputy geology minister of Kazakh SSR. In 1972-1988, he was a head of NOT Center branch, a chief engineer of South Kazakhstan geology management, the first deputy head of South Kazakhstan oil exploratory expedition, “Scientific works organization” center director under Kazakh SSR Geology Ministery. In 1998, he was retired. He died in 2006.
There were party and public figures, honorable citizen of Atyrau region and city Yessen taskynbayev, oil workers-veterans Makash Rakhmetov, Tursynbay Bakhtiyarov, Boris Bezunin, Vladimir Zhandin, Murat Ilyassov, Tekey karamurziyev, Zhakil Taskynbayev, Zauresh Kuspangaliyev, Zhonas Sappayev, honorable explorationist of Rok, honorable resident Zhylyoy district Keltir Shanenov, a wife of B.Yessengaliyev Shuga Bekbauliyev, relatives, students of Atyrau oil and gas university, S.Mukashev polytechnic college, media personnel, in total 55 persons in the event.
Biographic documents, photos of working career in different years, in student years, with relatives, friends, in the family circle, orders and medals and others were presented in the exhibition. In total 52 showpieces were exhibited.
An honorable resident of Atyrau region and city Yessen Taskynbayev, veterans-oil workers Tekey Karamurzin, Zhonas Sappayeva made speech and emphasized the achievements of Bagytzhan Yessengaliyev in discovering new oil and gas field in Kazakhstan, in developing regional economics, and told about his authority before his colleagues. From side of relatives Kanziba Uteuliyeva shared with warm remembrance about that he dedicated himself to work. At the end of event, a son of Asset Bagytzhanuly and a daughter of Gulshara thanked museum personnel for the event mentioning the importance of the meeting for future generation brought-up.
