“Tenge is a symbol of Independence” historical and educational lessons conducted under program “Country of Great Steppe – 25 grounds of Independence” devoted to the 25 years of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was conducted in the Local history museum of Atyrau region on 28 October 2016 at 15.00, 28 November – “National currency”.

The lesson was conducted in order to acquaint with history of the national currency – tenge, the main attribute of economical independence of Kazakhstan and respect the State symbols.                                                  

The pupils got to know about condition of tenge implementation, history of its formation, “Harrison and sons” company where the first tenge was printed. On completion of the lesson, a literary trivia game on given theme was conducted among the participants.    

Teachers and pupils of secondary school No.16 named after Zh.karazhigitov presented on the lesson.
