A sightseeing tour through historical place of Atyrau citywas held by the local history museum of Atyrau region for pupils of 6-7th forms from lyceum school No.17 and secondary school No.2 on 5 and6 October 2016. The tour was held under promotional event “Cultural heritage of Kazakhstan” in order to demonstrate historical monuments and memorable places of Atyrau city.
3 items: monument of Isatay Taimanov and Makhambet Utemisov, “Imangali” mosque and the Assumption Cathedral were presented. For the pupils of secondary school No.2. Tourists was acquainted with monuments of Isatay and Makhambet, when it was established, who Isatay and Makhambet is, why thankful descendants established a monument for them in the center of our city. In the course of tour pupils get known about world religion: Islam and Orthodoxy, about architecture of “Imangali” mosque as well as about building history of the Assumption Cathedral and were inside it.
Tour was conducted for pupils of lyceum school No.17 in the Victory Park where pupils get acquainted with planes of the Great Patriotic War period, warfare and armaments and get known what means Eternal flame as well as saw memorial to the fallen soldiers during the Great Patriotic War, memorial to victim of political repressions and to peacekeeper.
