“Night in museum” festive event devoted to City Day was held in the Local history  museum of Atyrau region on 4 October 2016 from 19.00 to23.00.

An exhibition of jewelry and master class of jewelry exhibition of masters of applied arts K.Shapabayev,performanceby masters of Kurmangazy Palace of Culture stage, defile of «VERO Modelz»modeling agency, concert of   “Murager” folk music group of N. Zhanturin Philharmonic Hall, werearranged for visitors, also intellectual quest was held.

On the square before the museum, actors of Kazakh drama theatre named after Makhambet and museum stuff were in character of historical figures such as Isatay and Makhambet, sultan Beibarys, Zhangir khan, Timur the Lame, Kazakh warriors and have commemorative picture taken with visitors.  According to ancient usage of hospitality, museum visitors were offered tea from samovar with newly baked bauyrsaks.

The akim of Atyrau S.Shapkenov, deputy akim G.Shakirova, director of Culture, Achieve and Documentation Department, city guests, media personnel visited the event.
