A contest of patriotic songs occasioned with 71 years of the Great Patriotic War and the birthday of the National Hero Kh.Dospanova were conducted on May 5. The ceremonial event began with floral tribute to a monument of Kh.Dospanova. The patriotic songs were sung by the students of the Academy of folk music named after A.Sundetov and pupils of urban schools. Also, girl’s patriotic club from Aktubinsk “Aliya, Manshuk, Khiuaz”, a dancing group “Aliyaguli” presented in the event.
The member of the hanging committee in the Contest of patriotic war were a deputy chairmen of Veterans administration of Atyrau region M.Beskaliyev, a head of ensemble “Aliya guli” Sh.Ainabekova, a music master of Out-of-school work center of Atyrau city L.Gilazheva. Following the results of contest 1st place was awarded to pupil of 3rd form in the secondary school No.10 named after S.MukanovA.Zhaksylykova, 2nd place was awarded to 8th form pupils of the secondary school No.11 named after Y.AltynsarinA.Saparova and A.Bakytzhan, 3rdlace was awarded to pupil of the National upper secondary school No.13 Zh.Bisenbayev and first-year-student of Academy of folk music named after D.NurpeisovaG.Tanatova. The rest participants were given the following nomination “Pretty voice”, “Viewer’s sympathy”, “The best singer of the patriotic songs”.
