On July 17, at the Atyrau Regional Museum of Local History, on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Murat Monkeuly, the final press conference of the ethnographic expedition was held, held from June 22 to July 17 in Zhylyoi, Makat, Kyzylkoga, Inder, Makhambet districts of Atyrau region.

The purpose of the press conference is to provide the media with archives and material relics collected from the successors of the craft of their ancestors, villagers and local historians who know the traditions and customs of our people living in the rural districts of the above areas.

The first route of the expedition ran in the Zhylyoi region, headed by the head of the museum M. Kipiyev, as part of a literary scholar, candidate of philological sciences M. Tazh-Murat, culturologist G. Asylbekkyzy, chief curator B. Khasanova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Department for Providing Scientific Research on the History of the Modern Period K. Mukhitov, senior researcher of the department for providing scientific research on general history, archeology, ethnography N. Kamiyeva, Head of Accounting Sector of the Fund M. Nauryzbayeva, the head of the fund storage sector A. Masaeva, the driver of the car M. Demesinov.

During the expedition, about 150 physical relics were collected, new ethnographic data, names of places and water bodies in the areas of residence, wells, barrows, hills, legends in folk art, folklore information, methods of treatment of livestock used in the traditional household of the people, technology of preparation of kumys and soap-making in various versions and other new information on the ethnographic direction.

The press conference was attended by representatives of the regional media, regional TV channels "Atyrau", "Caspian news", journalists of the regional socio-political newspapers "Atyrau", "Caspian Commune", members of the expedition, museum staff.
