Information about the holding of the exhibition "Alash lesson and Independence" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Alash autonomy and May 31 - to the Day of Victims of Political Repression in the Local History museum of Atyrau region

An exhibition "Alash lesson and Independence", dedicated to the 100th  anniversary of the Alash autonomy and May 31 - Day of Victims of Political Repression, was organized for the visitors of the museum in the Local History museum of Atyrau region on May 31, 2017.

The exhibition was held with the purpose of acquaintance with Alash movement, propaganda of heritage of Alashorda figures, education of patriotism on the example of ideas and socio-political activity of Alash, disclosure of historical truth about Stalinist repressions and tragedy of those years.

The Alash Party was the first political organization of the Kazakhs, played a huge historical role in the formation of the statehood of the Kazakh people. The activities of the Alash party responded not only to the spirit of their time, but also was the ideological source of Kazakhstan's independence. The contribution of the Alashorda leaders to the rise of the Kazakh national identity is invaluable, showing an active civil position in defending the rights of the Kazakh population. It is necessary to bow thanks to the members of the Alash Party, which contributed to the establishment of the prerequisites for Kazakhstan's current independence in those difficult years.

The exhibition showedphotographs, documentary materials, biographies of prominent Alashorda figures Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Akhmet Baitursynov, Zhakhanshi Dosmukhamedova, Khalel Dosmukhamedov, Mirzhakyp Dulatov, Magzhan Zhumabayev, victims of political repression Nasikhat Sugiruly, Khalit Akbotin, Bilyal Mukhitov, Alpan Kudaibergenov and others, total 64 exhibits.

The exhibition was visited by veterans of the Alsa village cultural center, students and visitors of the museum, totaling 54 people.
