On May 21, 2017, at 11.00 and 15.00, at the Local History Museum of Atyrau region, a lesson of courage "Letters scorched by war - military triangles" was held, dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as part of the family program "The whole family goes to the museum". Excursions are organized for the adult and children's audiences with the purpose of patriotic education of the younger generation on the example of heroism and courage of our fellow countrymen, participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and familiarization with the front letters - triangles of officers and soldiers.

The lesson of courage "Letters scorched by war - military triangles" was held in the hall of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 against the background of an exposition with front-line letters, accompanied by slides representing photos, documents and letters from the museum of war participants Grigoriy Anichkin, Shokan Karzhauov , Abdulla Ismagambetov, Bissenkul Sakhipov. The attendants learned why there were such triangular letters, how the military post office worked during the war years, what the censors from the NKVD crossed out in the soldiers' letters, read extracts of the letters from G. Anichkin, S. Karzhauov, A.Ismagambetov, B. Sakhipov, learned to make soldiers' letters – triangles by themselves.

The lesson of courage was attended by residents of the cities of Atyrau, Almaty, Shymkent, Arkalyk, students of secondary school No. 3, secondary school named after Y.Altynsarin, 40 peoplein total.
