«XXI ғасыр көшбасшысы» intellectual contest was conducted among pupils that devoted to the First President Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan under celebration of 25 years of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Local history museum of Atyrau region on 29 November 2016.

Purpose of contest: to acquaint attendees with life and work of N.A.Nazarbayev as the first and current President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, patriotic upbringing of young generation as an example of life of the National leader and checking knowledge of pupils.

In the contest 3 teams took part: Atyrau regional Kazakh –Turkish lyceum, National upper secondary school for gifted children of Atyrau region and Nazarbayev Intellectual School focusing on chemistry and biology. Teams had to show their knowledge of life and work experience of N.A. Nazarbayev and his policy conducted.

Judges at the contest consist of: Director of the Local history museum of Atyrau region R.Kharipova, specialist in teaching methods of Atyrau Regional Education Department S.Aitzhanova, guide of applied art museum Sh.Sariyeva and I.Zhumagaliyeva. As viewers teachers and pupils of secondary school No.18 named after N.Krupskaya, secondary school No.9 named after Ch.Valikhanov.

After completion of contest, Director of the Local history museum of Atyrau region R.Kharipova congratulated attendees with coming holidays and presented thank-you letters for participated teams in the following nomination: «Білгірлер», «XXI ғасыр көшбасшысы», «Ұлт ұландары».
