A promotional event, Doors Open Day under name «Бор дәуірінің фаунасы» was arranged by the paleontology branch of local history museum of Atyrau region for disabled persons on 13 October 2016. The charity event was devoted to the day of disabled person and was conducted in order to get acquainted disabled people with wild life of Mesozoic era of Cretaceous period as well as with the invertebrate and vertebrate of Cretaceous period.

The Head of deaf-mute society Z.Akhmetova and disabled persons – deaf-mute persons presented in the promotional event. Tour through exhibition halls was conducted with the aid of sign language interpreter. The attendees get known about animals of Cretaceous period (sponges, corrals, squid, ammonites, thunderbolt, sea urchin,asteroid, crinoids, sharks and cramp-fish, dinosaurs), about peculiarities of their habitations and about displayed  remains in the museum. At the end of tour, Head of deaf-mute society Z.Akhmetova expresses gratitude on behalf of all the society members for event held.
